Deborah Eve Alastra  -  Some have described Deborah as Impressionistic or Village Naive. Her paintings embody a touch of whimsy and reflect her unique vision of the world. She finds beauty in everyday subjects and often explores themes of an idealized village life. Her experiences of living and traveling internationally, along with her current residence in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, have significantly influenced her work.

Re-Shaping Histories -As part of the 2023 Antiuniversity Now series of events, Occhi was proud to support Catherine’s ‘Reshaping Histories’ – a guided walk around Lincoln’s Inn Fields (LIF) to investigate the spatial practices and social habits of its public spaces and buildings of its historic built fabric along with its more recent and upcoming site transformations.

Michael Dooley worked for many years as a still photographer and a chief lighting technician in the film and video industries. His second degree in Environmental Geology led him into a successful career as an environmental consultant, embarking on excursions into the jungles of the Amazon, the foothills of the Himalayas, the ruins of Guatemala, and other exotic habitats worldwide, with his camera.

He made significant changes in life including migrating to the UK to become a British soldier deployed in Iraq. Since becoming a civilian, he has exhibited at the London Battersea Affordable Art fair (exhibiting with the Army Art Society), Charlton House and the Canary Wharf Window Gallery.

The artist originally presented this collection at her central London solo art exhibition near London’s St Paul’s Cathedral. The exhibition was originally hosted by The Salvation Army at their International Headquarters, within their Gallery 101 space. Kerry has been a longtime supporter of the organization, fundraising to raise awareness and money to help support its work combating homelessness and modern slavery..
